Conclusion Of The GBM Held Today
A GBM was held today at 11, with some representing their classes and centreS on behalf of them.
The Decision concluded after a mutual Discussion with 2 main points as it doesn't make sense to keep an indefinite boycott, one fine morning we have to wake up in the class.
1) Since students had raised issues in the poll that they won't be able to contribute to the protests, or us separating our paths from the university we have decided For Half-Day Classes which the Faculty has agreed to as well. I shall further discuss it with other student leaders as well.
Furthermore, if required, classes may be held on Sundays.
(Doesn't apply to centres)
The proposed date for classes is 27th of Jan alongside F/o Arts.
2) Exams to be held from 3rd Feb provided no one is facing any genuine issues.
As the students present in the GBM raised this issue to first wind up the previous exams. I Will talk to the faculty and ensure a date convenient for all of us in mind.
( However, we have been clubbed with the faculties in 2nd phase itself instead as I was expecting us to remain in third and hence proposed the date - 3rd Feb, I shall update further regarding this after a discussion.)
Terms and Conditions apply for the following to stay in effect:-
* The Main Republic Day Celebration goes smoothly without any agitation.
* The Students of ZHCET do not boycott exams as for Unani almost exams are over for the majority.
I would take a line to thank the people who came today, it really helped all of us in forming an efficient decision as well as the people who joined us for the peaceful protest.
